In fact Titek, before using humans as memories, the machines were necesseraly stored in "normal" hardware , just as they were in second renaissance and matricualted.

Wich means that a part of their system is still working on an ancient hardware, probably for security purpose. Note that I don't say that all the programs are stored in humans brains, just most of them.
That should line up with what the Architecte said about surviving at a low level (I don't think that he was mistaken about that because his lack of knowledge concerns the forecasting of the futur, not the working of their world).

Fatpie,

note that the Oracle asks, in Reloaded, "Why don't you come and have a sit THIS TIME?" >> in the 1996 script, she said that she won't ask him to sit since he'll refuse.

So you see, some ideas have been abandonned, others haven't despite the fact that they had not shown them in Matrix1. The fact that we're not batteries was probably forsaken from the beginning since that idea makes no sense, even with the "fusion" theory.

Merovingian:"there is no lipstick!"

In the final script she says that too. She says in "the matrix":
"I'd ask you to sit down, but you're not going to anyway"

Fair enough, they didn't change that bit. But other bits they DID change. Any time the wachowskis change something you can be pretty sure that there is a good reason.

Ya they didn't make Neo destroy Smith in that old, crappy version.

How did they want to end revolutions originally then? How could they finish it without destroying Smith? Do you know where I can find this old script?

I think there are a few posts in these forums with the old version. Do a search.

Yeah, I've searched for them, but excluding M1, the majority of links aren't to the actually scripts/screenplays. More often than not, they are links to the transcripts of the movies.

I thought about that too! He said the door Neo took would lead to a cataclismic systems crash leading to the death of everyone connected to the matrix. No crash occured. So the question is, was he lying or did he believe that it would really happen. This leads to two more important questions. First off, If he was lying, than the statement he made to the Oracle at the end of the third film when she said "And the others, if they want out..." and she asked for his word to which he replied "What do you think I am, Human?" Indicating that he had a definite rationale wherein his statements were always final, thus true. If he Lied to Neo, then what he said to the Oracle means nothing, and the Matrix will still be what it has been.
Or, if he did believe that Neos choice would cause the crash, he has become useless, and ready for deletion, in that he had served his purpose completely and had nothing left to add. Him speaking to the Oracle means he did not return to the source for deletion and that he was in fact an exile.
As im sure the last part will cause controversy, I will explain it further. The Architect is in a seat of power. The source led him to believe he had more power than he actually did, in that he never before made a statement that turned out to be untrue. Now that he has said something that he thought to be true, but was actually false, he is a failed program. In the position he is in, perfection is everything. Even though he may have made millions of commands which were correct, the fact that he made one false, means he is no longer perfect, and incapable of performing his duty.
Thoughts?

Allright you fags, I've explained this a million times but obviously it wasn't enough. The explanation is so simple that a 2 year old could figure it out. People are just reading too goddamn much into it.

1. The Architect said a system crash would occur if Neo did not return to the Source.
2. He was correct.
3. What did you think is happening to the Matrix in M3? Why is it deteriorating? It is about to crash if it cannot be prevented.
4. What the hell happened to Neo at the end? He returned to the Source. The Matrix was reloaded. The system crash was prevented.

Its not even something unique to the Matrix. This type of plot development happens in so many stories. Its like saying a patient will die of injury if the operation is not a success. The operation is a success= patient does not die.

Listen. You obviously have nothing else to do if you sit here and post all day and night. Bet you have these movies completely memorized, which is very cool, as I'm sure it helps you with the ladies.
Architect said There are 2 doors, ... the incorrect choice will cause a cataclismic systems crash... indicating an immediate reaction rather than a more drawn out countdown. At least this is how I saw it.
You seem too up tight. Before you post, take a deep breath, have some water, and try to forget about how bad your life is. Cause hey. If I were you, I'd have killed mysely by now.
Done with this site! I'm out -fags-

Sorry you take it that way Charlemon, but I think that it is obvious that the Architecte made a mistake... he was sincere when he told to Neo that the matrix would crash.
