I came across another interesting fact.

If the Matrix is a lie, than the whole family construct is a lie also. That means that "your" mother is not really your mother, and "your" father and siblings are not "your" family. So the question is, when a fetus is made, are the parents randomly selected? And then how would you explain the fact that family members often share traits? Were they designed to be like that, or made from the same pod-growing machine?

And what about identical twins? Are they in the same pod? Were they made at the same time?

What about Conjoined Twins? Is that a malfuntion from one of the machines, or is it purposely done, so the people in the Matrix don't suspect a world of perfect babies? And if so, are THEY in the same pod, and would Morpheus (or another revolutionist) have to offer them 2 pairs of blue and red pills, or would one blue pill and one red pill suffice for both of them (if they are in the same pod)? In the real world, would they be "normal" do you think?

What if the conjoined twins were offered two sets of blue and red pills, and one chose a red pill and one chose a blue pill? If they were conjoined in real life, what would happen?

What about mentally retarded people? Would they be "normal" in the real world?
