Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

I only found this site a few days ago, so I dont know if this subject has already been discussed.

Since Morpheus if the Greek God of Dreams, and Nebuchadnezzar is known for having prophetic dreams, i thought it might be relevant to the story.

Let me paraphrase Daniel 2:31-35;
Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a huge statue with five layers; a head of gold, a torso and arms of silver, a waist of bronze, legs of iron, and feet of clay and iron. Then he saw a Stone that broke the clay feet of the statue and the statue fell and was destroyed. Then the Stone became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

This might symbolize a number of things, but my interpretation is that the five layers of the statue are the 5 previous versions of the "one". The Stone is Neo, who will hopefully break the cycle of Matrixes and save the all the humans from slavery.

That is a very interesting interpretation, I'll look at that myself now. I don't think this has been brought up before in this forum...Well Done Exclamation

Excellent insight.

Daniel was the dream interpreter for Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible, and I like how they put that into the Matrix, seeing as how in the Matrix, Morpheus has the 'Daniel Dream Interpretation' front (Or something close to that), and his ship is the Nebuchadnezzar. Nice stuff.

Now all Morpheus needs is a large garden that hangs...
