»How old is Zion? How much time between destructions?«

From what Morpheus tell us in the first movie. AI was created a lille after year 2000. (i think he said that.)
So if there has been 6 Zions/Matrixes, what is actually the year on the real world?

And at what time does each matrix start? MAybe it starts at year 2000? Maybe it starts with the beginning of homo sapiens (mankind).

How many years is it between each time Zion is destroyed?

If we guess its about 200-300 hundred years, the counsil must be really old (since some say that these people is the first 23 chosen by the previous one.) Maybe humans live for about 500 years. But in the matrix our lives are terminated after 80-100 years because we`re about to be as wise as needed to see through the illusion of the matrix.

In the first movie, Morpheus suggests that there has been only two ones. He sais that he freed the first of them, and after his death the Oracle foresaw his return. And that his return would hail the destruction of the matrix.
Is that only a lie told by the system through the Oracle to hide the fact that there has been several Zions/Matrixes?
