human vs machine sieze-fire?

Hi all. newbie here.
a thought from me. after playing enter the matrix on ps2 i thought a bit about a level where you run like hell from a truck load of smiths that do their best to kill you. the name of the level is "the virus is spreading". does this imply that smith has turned from an agent to a virus and in that case has the architect/system/matrix lost control over him? it seems clear to me that this One, neo, is different from the previous Ones. Can it be that the neo/smith convergence is new to the matrix and new to the system and that they never had a exile program go completely wild before? we see in reloaded that smith can assimilate programs with his neat hand-in-stomach trick? does this mean that he can do the same with more powerful programs such as merovingian, oracle, arhitecht, persephone (if we toy with the idea that they actually are programs...)? if smith can do this i suppose the programs are scared shitless of him. what is the solution? maybe a sieze fire between the humans and machines so that the One can destroy smith and restore order to the matrix???
in the teaser trailer for revolutions you see in the rainy backstreet showdown scene between neo and smith that he is surrounded by oceans of smiths and when i took a closer look at the trailer you also see smiths in all the windows in the surrounding buildings. does smith take over every human beeing as well as programs? i also thought a bit about the scene with a hysterical laughing smith in what looks like the oracles kitchen? has he assimilated here and is laughing about that?

ah well, i better stop now.
but hey, what about the theory of a human-machine cooperation?
farfetched??

That will be the conclusion of the trilogy, most of us think.

The Smith as virus is obviously a problem for the humans. What if everybody woke up while being infected? A Zion full of Smiths?

But if machines use humans as batteries, wouldn't it be a good idea to have a program (like Smith) "infect" all the humans so that The Architect would gain complete control? There would be no anomaly...

Yes, indeed I do think the machines and the humans make peace for a little while. In the trailer for Revolutions, Neo says to a spiky robot-like thing "Program Smith has grown beyond your control"..."You canīt stop him....I can".

Somehow, Smith developed into a threat to both the machines and the humans, so it seemed smart that they fight together to eliminate him.

Unfortunately no one can be told what The Matrix is...You have to see it for yourself.
