»Plot hole, or not...? Diggers...«

I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but...

In a CG sequence in reloaded they show the massive machine army in a big underground cavern, they also show the diggers. There are four diggers there, but in the battle for zion there are only two...?

When did you see this? Give me a timing in the film.

they came in waves. So the first wave saw 2 diggers im guessing the second wave would of been an additional 2 but since when the second wave came and powered up the one digger they didnt need to send another one yet.

Doesn't look like a plot hole to me...

well i wasn't sure, that's why i asked...

i just thought it was weird because they never mentioned anymore diggers coming through.

this cap shows a computer screen in zion command center with only two diggers.

so what do you think?

I think their thermal scans are not that accurate.

Maybe the scans are 2 dimensional and the other two were behind.

Maybe the other two are too cool.

Maybe they were only scanning the closest two.

Either way, I see it as a failing of Zion technology rather than a plot hole.
