wow you people really know nothing about this movie do you? you have to understand the reason for the three movies, the first one is about birth, the second about life, and the third about death. Which means that someone important is going to die in the 3rd movie, my bets are on Morpheus because he has been like a mentor to Neo. As for my dream theory, yes I know, it would piss a lot of people off, but you have to agree that the stuff that is said can lead to that kind of ending. Also, I dont know how many of you have heard of The Matrix actually being the ending of Revolutions, that theory too would make a lot of sense, I also wanted to get your opinions on who Neo was talking to, Im guessing the Architect, or possibly The Merovingian, because of the whole choice sentence.

The W. Brothers would not have made it as simple as that...believe me I know....

I initially bought into the Matrix in Matrix theory. I somewhat still follow that . However, other theories do seem plausible.

The theory that Neo wakes up and realizes it is all a dream. Many argue that would be a silly ending. Maybe so. However, the W. Brothers have borrowed from many stories in creating the Matrix. Such as Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz. In both stories, the main characters, Alice and Dorothy, wake up and realize it was all a dream. Maybe Neo will. And if he does, is he in the real world or still in the Matrix?

That Zion is the real world and the people destroy the machines. That would be a classic Hollywood ending, with good winning over bad. However, the Matrix in Matrix theory could still hold.

And other theories are abound.

I think, and hope, the W. Brother end M3 the same way they have ended the other movies. That is, at one level there is simplistic answer that the majority will follow. However, at another level, questions arise that do not have definitive answers. Those that see those questions will have to choose an answer that fits their reality. I think M3 will end without giving definitve answers. I think Keanu said in an interview that M3 will provide a lot of questions without a lot of answers (or something like that). I think the theories presented will not be fully answered. It is your choice in what to choose. Just like in the Matrix.

For a minute, forget about the matrix.. just think about us..

We all need purpose.

And we are tempted to follow the leaders of higher power to achieve this feeling of "purpose".

ACCEPTING the purpose or DECLINING the purpose is our "CHOICE".

This choice, however, is influenced by THE SOURCE (the leader of higher power).

How so?

When you make a choice, you are simply processing information that has already been given to you. It is from this information that you decide whether to open the left door or the right door.

Since the source has more power than you, they have CONTROL over the information you use to make your CHOICE.

We can say then that CHOICE is an illusion, since we use existing knowledge encoded in our brains to make it.

Therefore the source has an indirect control over your choice by influencing your decision.

The problem is choice.

We must UNDERSTAND why we are making the choice. Otherwise, we are just falling victim to a purpose which may be good or bad.



This has all been done before. Government's across the world, in different periods of history have used propaganda to control this INFORMATION -- information being the tool we use to determine whether or not to support a hollocaust, or attack another country.


With all this is mind...
I always view the machines as nothing more than a GOVERNMENT.
that's all they really are..
