I'm new here and I keep hearing things about Larry Wachowski's sexuallity. Is it all rumors or is any of it true? And if you have any site of the rumours it would be great.

Why the Wachowski brothers aren't brothers anymore:

It matters if you belive two unrealiable sources. Our good old Right-Wing British Tabloids (who claimed Asylem Seekers were stealing swans from the queen to eat and when it turned out they weren't they blamed it on French poachers) or his Ex-wife . Maybe I'm wrong though, but I think you should belive something if there is strong evidence to support it. Keep on thinking young-uns.

What a pointless speculation!

As someone who is transsexual (go look at members.tgworld.org... I just don't see the point in this speculation. Does it make the movies LESS intriguing? Does it ADD to the motivations of any of the characters in the films?

One of the quotes (on pressclubcannes.org...) was: "Wachowski taking female hormones, partaking in an S/M relationship with a dominatrix à la Trinity, preparing for a sex-change operation and going by the name of Lana. Or was it Lara? Loretta?" ...just sums up this trash. Too much "Jerry Springer" style reporting here, and too much misinformation as well.

Speaking from experience it can be difficult going through "gender transition" if there's too much exposure, but so far I haven't seen any evidence that this is a case. The last well know celebrity within the film making world who undertook such a transition that I know of, was Wendy Carlos, who's been responsible for a number of well known sound tracks (see wikipedia.org... and wendycarlos.com...).

The thing is, Wendy Carlos was just as good a composer and musician after the change as she was before. It shouldn't be important.

B&D and crossdressing do not make a transsexual but a fetish, and there is a distinct difference.

I really couldn't care less. He is one half of a great talent and I think we should be disscussing that rather than trying to pry into his private life...

I think it is nice of him to try to free my mind in the sexual way to. I guess I would make love to Larry dressed as a lady if he told me the story of revolutions.

Some friends of mine who are in the entertainment world saw him in a dress. Not like theres somethng wrong with that,but my friends were a little surprized.
