The burden of proof does not lie on me. Neither Purpose nor I have been able to hear the words you claim are obvious. This can only lead to two conclusions. Either (a) you are making it up, or (b) you are hearing something (like the lyrics of the music) and mistaking it for Neo talking.

I'm inclined to believe that the answer is (b) and that the mistake is because of the lyrics in the song. It could be something else you are mistaking for it. Believe me; if Neo says anything, it is far from 'obvious'.

I still await proof from you that Neo really says "Is it over?". In fact I await evidence too!

wish u r right Fatpie .. cant u search for the SoundTrack ? coz i cant hear any one singing or any words only music , and about the words i heard im sure of it ...didnt see NEO saying it , but there were only the MACHINE and NEO .. and we know how the MACHINE voice looks like so i was convinced its NEO's ....but anyway hope its not him saying it !

It's definately a reference to Christ on the cross: His last words were "It is done".

Actually, that's how it's been translated into english for many centuries, so the movie says "it is done'.

The actual meaning of what Jesus said translated (I think in Aramaic) was more "It is done" in the sense it is accomplished, his task is successfully over.
