»The Zion Spoon...Why?«

The Spoon Boy has the Kid deliver Neo a real spoon in Zion. Why did he do this?

Nobody knows.
This is a mystery so far and it may hint at Zion is not real, as I write at:

I think its probably the kid's way of communicating to Neo that he finally excaped the matrix.

It could be that he's trying to tell Neo that no matter where the spoon is to Neo, there is no spoon in the real world either or that Zion IS another Matrix(hell, we're back to that one again!)

I saw it as a little reminde to neo.. as he goes back into the matrix and off on another jouney.. remember that "there is no spoon" - as in remember that he can "bend himself" and not be confined by the convincing illusion of the matrix
