[Matrix Reloaded]
Lock: "I'm going to recommend to the Council that you be removed from duty"
Morpheus: "That is, of course, your prerogative, Commander."
Lock: "If it were up to me, Captain, you wouldn't set foot on a ship for the rest of your life."
Morpheus: "Then I am grateful that it is not up to you."

The door of the Oracle

The Oracle's door leading to his flat... is it a "special door" ? I mean, it is exactly the same than the doors that we see in the long hall plenty of doors (green and same door handle).

Remember that Neo didn't open the door in Matrix1, it was the PRIESTESS ! And the sound you hear when the door opens, it is the same than the one you hear when Seraph close the door (just before the burly brawl).

In the original script, the Oracle was not in a flat, but into a virtual world called Temple of Zion, that was created by Zion's Mainframe hidden inside the Matrix (I can post that part if you wish).

This is why Smith could not find the Oracle : she was hidding into another construct inside the Matrix.

Neo:"there is no spoon"
Merovingian:"there is no lipstick!"

That's correct yes.
But why does the Oracle need to be found by agents? She is part of the system and her purpose is to unbalance the equation in the right way and guide the One to the Source.

Her appartment/kitchen being an extra construct to hide it from the Matrix could very well be true. This way goons like the Merovingian cannot bother her.
We can see that the building is quite empty. So this might indeed suggest it is a cover up.

In M3 Smith might have assimilated someone (maybe the priestess?) who knows how to get to this isolated area where the Oracle resides.

The original script is certainly interesting to read! I found two early versions of it online, both very interesting in what they tell us about the Matrix.

I think she lets Smith find her in Revolutions...it's a part of her choice to help Neo, she has to be at the fight to give Neo the message to help his realize what he needs to do (or let happen).

The door stuff is also true...it's very subtle in The Matrix...

One thing I've thought about doing...as a musician, I've been thinking of annalyzing the significance of the music and see if there's anything it might indicate. We're all familliar with the "Trinity-Infinity" theme...and it's been said that any time we hear that is a direct reference to Trinity...but how? why? Maybe there's some other stuff hidden in the music...maybe one day I'll get the time to sit and tear it apart...

I definatly think the Brothers give a lot of information in their use of sounds and music.

If it interests you, in the original script, the Oracle asks to Neo if he wants to sit or not and he refuses, in Reloaded she asks "will you sit this time?". So now we know why she said "this time".

Mobil_Ave_Neo, why would Agents chase the Oracle ? For the same reason that they chase Neo and exiles : everything is fated in the matrix, that's all part of the game.

Smith knew how to find the Oracle because he partially infected Morpheus in the Hall and probably had the time to copy some informations. On the other hand, maybe that Bane had that info into his mind because he visited the Oracle before ?

JamesWI,

there are a lot of info with sounds : each Time Persephone kiss someone, we hear the same "digital" sound connecting, when Neo sees Serpah, Rama or the keymaker for the first time we hear the same "tinkling" sound. When Smith talk to himself in Reloaded after that he said "I went as expected?", you hear a mettalic object falling and bouncing (ich is , I think, a hearphone).

In the burly brawl, one Simth get kicked by Neo's stick but he is out of the screen but you hear him very well.

Etc....

Apocryphe

the proof that the door is a special one...

In ETM, just after that Niobe met the Oracle, Neobe get out of his flat through the door and just get in the long Hall plenty of doors.

Finally, that's a fact : the door of the Oracle 's appartment is a special door and if you open it without the key, it just leads you into a normal appartment (like when Neo entered in in reloadead after he did his "superman thing")
