Never been deliberately HACKED before, good job I know hackers & have a good knowledge of computers, isn't it?
I know I've been a VERY NAUGHTY GIRL, but there was no need to take it out on my computer...

I've learned a very valuable lesson, it won't happen again.
Perhaps you are right, perhaps Smith has copied on to me...but what you did, I would never dream of doing...
You know I love Neo, Smith is the torment I like to enforce on everyone!
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE..IM NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU AWAY.
All I will say is that some of my friends don't feel the same and they are trying to find you..So all I can say is

I've been away too due to multiple hard drive failure, fortunately they're cheap to replace and I got most of my stuff onto CD before they finally died. BTW my Matrix Stuff was top of the list.

Over 60 gig of data - I was seeing Nero in my sleep.

Of course I used the opportunity as an excuse to upgrade a few other bits 'n' bobs by way of consolation for the distress caused.

Computers eh? Nothing but trouble.

I`m sad to hear that your computer was attacked, smith. I got hit with an auto dialer virus the other day, its just not safe on the net these days.

TugoWar, I don't really want to say what I did - I was totally off-my-face and what I did was extremely embarassing. All I can say is that it will NOT happen again. It was just one of those things, where you get caught-up in the moment

I've ALWAYS enjoyed my time here, I've made some great friends and had much fun chatting, unfortunately due to this/these malicious person/persons, I am going to be extremely wary of who I'm chatting to from now on....
Nocturnal_anonymous, thanks for your PM, It's nice to know there are some good Smith fans out there, but I shall refrain from getting drawn-in to any new friendships here, shame really, I love getting to know folks.
Please believe me when I say that this is nothing personal, things have happened and I'm not going to let them happen again.

Update your win regulary and get some antivir software, i have norton antivirus and it saved me many many times!

I've had a new antivirus installed, plus a security alarm, plus two firewalls, plus a antivirus back-up and instant detector.

Like I said I'm taking no chances with these internet morons.

hope they didnt cause to much damage...

it does certainly bring up ther question of whether we make ourselves more susceptable to hackers by our love of a film about hacking

i dont know much about computers and sometimes feel a bit wary when surfing the net

if any body has any tips for websites with free downloads to help protect against it then it would helpful to us all...

i guess it gives creedence to the "theyre watching you" line in m1

I'm not that malicious - although I may reconsider seeing as I have discovered that my Master Boot Files have been removed...can you believe it?

Another smith is on a few matrix boards, might not have been one of us. I agree though, if you know who it is, action should be taken.
