How come neo could have been prisioned by meronvigian ? he is the one !
it is not easy to hold him.

I believe the saviour is someone else. Maybe the kid, or the child seen in the station.
Even because it woul be easy for meronvingian to kidnap the beared man and his family.

Maybe this child is the termination code, as the Oracle has said to ghost in ETM.
so here is my guess.

Merovingian kidnaps the beared man and his family.
Neo, somehow, discover that the termination code is the child, so he, trinity and morpheus enter the matrix to rescue her (the child)
meronvigian tells that he will give the child if they get oracles eys.
But smith get the eyes first (the evil laugh) and neo needs to fight him to get
the eyes.

Strav, you make an asumption. That Neo is actually imprisoned by the Meronvingian. In fact, it may be that the Merovingian knows where Neo is (perhaps he is lost), or knows some secret that will help the others bring Neo back to Zion.
But.... I do think that the kid will play a vital role in the Revolutions.

Indeed, thanks for freeing my mind. I just wondered that maybe Merovingian, due
his eye fascination, knows - or even has something to do with neo's blindeness stuff -.
Remember when Meronvigian is talking about the cake girl : "can you see it Neo?". I read this as "Can you see it TOO (like me) Neo ? ".
