ok.. looking for hidden clues, i tried to run an Anagram on the name
Thomas Anderson (Neo's name).

if Neo is a "good guy", working to save Zion, then we might get:

sandman shooter

Meaning, he is the destroyer of the Sandman, or the "dream giver"... ie the matrix and the machines.

OR, if Neo is unknowingly a "bad guy" whose purpose is to eventually destroy Zion, then we might get:

harmed nato sons

of course referring to NATO as the countries of man, and NATO's sons as mankind.

choose your poison... i was hoping for answers, but i just found more questions!!! hahahahahahaha

Most probably as written at

matrix-explained.com...

"Thomas A. Anderson"
Ander = "Man" (Greek)
Son = "Son"
Anderson = "Son of man". An attribute also given to Jesus. Moreover "Neo Anderson" would mean "New son of man".

"Thomas A." is probably related to "Thomas Aquin" a saint of the catholic church.

Would this be the source of the term "doubting Thomas" which has been mentioned previously as a possibe reason for the name.

Sorry, My Theology is not what it could be.

This got me thinking.

Do we every hear mention of Moprpheus or Trinity's "Matrix" names?

Was she for example "Mary, Onelove" or something Very Happy

I hope the deeper meaning of "Trinity" will be revealed in Matrix Revolutions

Yeah, I was just realised that too, that we haven't been told their 'Matrix' names yet... you would think that would have happened already... Confused
