Imagining these other actors as Neo and other fictional characters could be really useful in your creative thoughts and more analytical ones on The Matrix....huhmmm? Well, I don't know right now, but vagaries aren't so bad today so I'm leaving this out here.
Hi people. I don't know most of you...anyway, this place is really filled with exciting activity. I try to quote here from people in various media (mediums?) and see what people get excited about...hmmm
So ever think the Matrix trilogy and/or videogame (I have yet to play Enter the Matrix due to 1999 Dell XPS R450 getting old) relates to your real life? Online life? I don't so much yet, although if you take a step back, so to speak, it could happen.
Lets suggest some polls if anyone can think of really meaningful ones to them...if you want. Bye for now. Hey admins, too, and members, what do you think of that. I would appreciate the time and thought all of us put into this forum.
I commend all of you for these deep discussions around the forums and categories (I never have time to read all of them, maybe over the summer...personal life is getting in the way of focused thought on these issues...winter here is tough...not too bad personally.... Stylistically I like the contrast between the main site and the forums...hey, try it out, this the internet (where else can you be so experimental?
....get permission from the Wachowski's if they end up respecting you that much. It's worth it to me, and I hope to you. I have been looking closer at life and media lately, and read American Gods by Neil Gaiman...powerful stuff there; symbolic even. Hey, you may, might, can, will, or choose to follow your own ideas about it. I am getting a little inspired by memory of the Matrix movies...(this is vague and short I realize).... Anyway, I will try to post here if I can make it. I have viewed the film Waking Life repeatedly and notice deep issues that relate to the matrix such as free will vs. fate vs. deterministic theory...never explored these with other people before ... (they rotoscoped the images from regular film if I recall correctly, in Richard Linklater's Waking Life...) Any thoughts?
I would quote more things fromWaking Life here ("...your life is yours to create.") However, these films on DVD get quite expensive in terms of money. How about we talk about how money was pretty much absent from the Matrix movies? Why? Who knows. But to go deeper in here or in-person conversations...."why not?" --morhpheus and I agree on that one for now...I'll be editing this post soon, trying to be in really separate topics where they belong if I can
So I apologize for the length and at the same time, think it's cool to just post it on here and see if anyone reads it. Type to you all later "out there" (--Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation).[/i]
