Sorry, been busy lately, but don't think I have seen anybody post about the "le vrai" restaurant that the trio meet the Merovingian in. "le vrai" is french for 'The Truth", and in these series of scenes, the Mero comments on how Neo has been defeated before, and also, his skills are greater than the earlier versions of the one.

I hadn't seen anyone notice that "le vrai" menas the truth, or else I missed it. I hadn't psoed about this before, as it was so obvious to me when it was first mentioned in the films.

So, when the Architect tells Neo he is the 6th anomoly, this reinforces the Mero 's statements in the Restaurant of the Truth.

Interestingly, VRAI is also a common acronym meaning either -

"Virtual Reality and its Application in Industry" or
"Virtual Reality and Active Interfaces"

Is this just a coincidence or does it neatly tie in with the whole Matrix philosophy?

By the way, I don't recall Mero actually saying that Neo's skills are greater than earlier Ones. After Neo stops the bullets, Mero does say "OK, so you have some skill". He also states that he met, and has outlasted all of Neo's predecessors.

I'm sure there are very few coincidences as far as naming goes within The Matrix.

When the three are entering the restaurant, just before they say a word to the Mero, you see for a second that someone (maybe the Mero's guard) is taking away somebody.

It seems Neo know him because how he looks at him. Also the music changes as if it were a Bonus or something...
