The three Matrix Films are immense! They are! But they a super over analysed films and are read into far too much.
I do apologise to all the many contributors to the films that add their comments on here. I didn't know that the script, Ideas, and funding came from most of the Gent's on here. Oh right they don't!
So why is everything fact and not opinion on here? And that opinion is the truth not your View? This site is full of it. Why doesn't anyone understand that on the Making of the Matrix films special features all commentary from the actors and above contributing people are actually the truth! Are you insane? I mean if someone says,
“I read the script and I realised that I would be playing the part of a man who escapes the Matrix, and over time becomes a real life super hero.”
Maybe that's why he sees in gold, and can stop machines? After all Zen is based on this in a way, or have you not done your research? And another thing we also need to consider is that the deeper the film, the less revenue Warner bro's will get back. Also how old and stupid the 70's minds of the deciding Warner bro's head honcho's are. So let’s say it's a simple complicated film, as it has to be able to be viewed by many generations all over the world. What happens when they play this film in an under developed but very rich and cultured none westernised country? The people won't get it unless it's reasonably easy to understand, but also has a level of depth for the more intelligent people.
Please! Until you know for sure about the Matrix films stop confusing people who don't understand the whole story and confuse them with not a lot to back up your opinions.
Also we need to think in logic terms. One bit of this story is stretched so far and is fatally flawed it's so close to being laughed at! Why? Well after studying our weak protein based body's why would the Machines think that a super computer running a fake world that's going to have masses of escaping power sources (humans) breaking out and posing a threat.
When they would know that certain chemicals in certain levels that we use to perform surgery on each other make humans go into a motion-less coma, and as long as the levels are kept constant we would essentially be in a more stable state than inside a fake programme world. Quicker, easier, and no escape's, think about it.
That's just one big factor that’s a flaw in the story. But they are films and I love them so I try not to analyse this too much as it spoils the whole thing. And before you chirp up all you intelligent science guys and gals, the above stated chemicals are actually able to be grown in Labs from not a lot, so advanced Machines would be able to synthesize this easily without the sun. Can you see the Fatal flaw I have stated? Or are you still blinded by the light? Do you still want to rant on like a Christian?
Anyway I have said my bit and I feel much better, but for those people who believe in what they are saying to be true analyse the Animatrix History stories on why the war started. Then realise the implications of that if indeed it happened in real life.
More than 40% of the worlds population would be free to run around in panic and hide, dig underground, ect as the world's armies would be such a massive amount of people that normal civilian’s would be free to do so and leg it. Hence underground cities and the rest! theories on the spoon handed to neo means that Zion is another programme! come on, remember the first film and see it as it is.
Have a gander at Zen Buddhism, meditation and how monks can turn off TV’s because they see their ora in gold! I believe that to be in the film to a level, and these are real life documented things. I think that a lot of this applies to the films in a more out of proportion way, but research, and then add your views. Knowledge is power i suppose.
