Does anyone know if there will be more matrix movies after the Revolutions?

I for one would like to see this happen.

i believe that there will be no more movies.

I don't think it possible to create more movies without going over the same things the trilogy as already covered.

The machines and humans are living in peace. but for how long.
As long as it lasts.

Once the peace is gone then we will be back at the beginning (matrix1),
Fighting, at war with machines, looking for the one?(don't know about that bit).

If the peace was gone then more movies would be just like watching it all again. You may as well watch the trilogy in a circle.

All of the main actors from the Trilogy said that they wouldn't do another movie again. Althought this is innevitable for Neo and Trin since they are dead, Morpheus is still alive. And a Matrix movie without either of these three wouldn't be a Matrix movie at all.

Just think of the game. No Neo, no Trinity. Just Ghost and Niobe.

Do you think that matriculated on the animatrix is after revolutions, or before? Because if it is after then to me it raises some serious questions about a war still being waged between the machines and humans. What I got out of it was we have to have balance, meaning that humans and AI have to work together and we have to show them that they too are free to make choices in order to coexist. What are your thoughts on this issue?

This has to be the end of it. There is no more room for speculation or new storylines. Although many questions are left in the air.
As for casting it would be a tough one. Fans around the world would have a rough time asimilating there is no Neo anymore.
I believe their job is done, it is our turn now.
There is enough material for comics, games or anything for christ!

There's always The Matrix Online MMORPG....
Not that I know alot about it myself, but apparently it takes place after Revolutions and focuses on two groups of humans fighting eachother, within the Matrix. One group wanting everyone to be released from the Matrix and the other wanting to preserve it.
Anyway, this suggests that the everybody in the matrix didn't die with the destruction of Smith, as some has specualted.
