Seraph was an angel....remember architect saying that the first matrix was perfect flawless ....a paradise? so Seraph was an angel from there...the first matrix failed though as architect continues...so probably Seraph that had the job of a powerful guardian angel had his wings cut (because human mind wouldn't accept someone with wings in the world as te architect re designed the matrix based on the human nature and history) but kept his position....he stills protects what matters most

Why not consider Seraph as first a Dark Angel ? ( Remeber the Scene when Seraph arrives to Merovigian Place, and they Greet him ass the prodigal Child )

Perhaps he just turn a protector in order to balance as new matrixes develop ( In one of the first Five Matrixes )

Wouldn't his Shirt be the representation of his wings and all the inside of his clothes are black ?

What i dont get is the Oracle said Seraph has been her protector for a long time. Protector against who? the Architect would'nt want her dead and therefore the agents wouldn't be after her. Why would a programme so powerfull be needed to protect her? The only one i can think of is Mero as he seriously wanted her eyes in Revolutions. Thoughts?
