Matrix Revolutions....while it borrows from the Jesus story....borrows more from the Socrates story. Socrates suicide is identical to Neo caving in to Smith. UGH!

How so? Socrates was pressured into suicide for "corrupting the youth of his city". How is that the same?

And the mythological references are not purely Christian either -- there are Greco-Roman, Hindu and Buddhist references as well.
