What is the equation of the matrix? I am sure we have a lot of programmers or math whizzes in here...let's see how close we can come to the matrix equation.

matrix = (subconscious choosers + conscious choosers) / (conscious rejecters)

For example:
subconscious choosers = Energy given off by normal people unaware of the matrix at a conscious level.

conscious choosers = Energy given off by normal people aware of the matrix at a conscious level. For example some people became aware of the matrix in Animatrix (the kid, the runner).

conscious rejecters = Energy given off by anyone that consciously rejects the matrix, this group would include Neo, Morpheous, Trinity, Smith)

Since Neo and Smith are lumped into the conscious rejecters, their power would help the other 1% equal the subconscious choosers + conscious choosers.

Just having fun...I would like to see some more equations...maybe even some program code...

u cant be serious? noone alive could write down that equation because:

1. we are not machines
2. we dont have enhough info based on the movie itself
3. its just plain stupid
4. are u that good in complex math?

the post entitiled matrix-explained.com... posted by maxis005. has given deeper insight to the creation of the anamoly.

this insight has paved the way to reformulate my current theory of the balanced equation provided by both the oracle and architect programs. my current equation in word form is as follows:

the matrix exists. the agents exists. zion exists - because the anamoly exists. all exist concurrently.

this has been proven wrong logicually since the anamoly is an eventuality not a concurrent variable.

my following equation is currently on white board - i just need to translate it to word form and run more logic tests against it.

I believe the Matrix existed to protect humans against ourselves...I believe that Neo existed, because the Matrix existed and was eventually flawed... Smith and the other agents existed because of people like Neo...i also believe that Neo was not the One, but became the One after he refuses to die as stated, (maybe love had something to do)... i believe that virus-like Smith (which by the way has never happened before) existed because the One existed (remember that balance stuff?)... and here is the tricky part... because i believe that the One existed because a terrible treath like Smith appeared, menacing both worlds.

Purpose...beliefs... a heck of a plot!
