We know that Matrix Revolutions is called this, because there was a change in its dynamics, and there was a "revolution" in the way the system worked regarding humans.

But why Reloaded?

when Neo chose the door on his left after speaking with the architect, maybe something was reloaded. And after Neo gets back into the "Real World" he has changed, and starts to "feel" the machines.

My theory is, either The One's programming was reloaded, or the entire matrix itself, meaning that zion is indeed a subset of the matrix.

any thoughts / comments or have I gone way off the plot?

the matrix was to be reset (revolutioned) at the end of the second movie. however, the architect interfered and gave him a pseudo choice to reenter (or reload) the matrix to save his love.

zion is indeed a subset of the matrix. however, it is not a virtual one as is the primary matrix program. it is a machine controlled populace.

I actually believe its the other way around, if Neo had chosen the other door, the code stored inside of him would have been entered with the rest, and the Matrix would have been reloaded, but Neo choose the other door, something no of the other "One's" chosed, thus, creating a revolution.

your argument is logical...

source is right, the most obvious answer is the right one...movie is trying so hard to be deep and meaningful but falls under generic...

In this hall of mirrors, built by liars, we are but a pale reflection of ourselves...
