I don't understand why M3 have subtitle "REVOLUTIONS"?

What kind of revolutions it take place in movie?

i just see Revolutions to mean 360 degrees.

Each version of the matrix was created, the ONE was created, the matrix was reloaded resulting in the cycle of events that should take place. As in you "go around" all the events and each time thats happened the matrix has been reloaded as it needs to be.

i see revolutions as changes. humans are finally free to make a choice whether to stay plugged in or leave. the war is over. newly evolved programs like sati, who have complete free will can coexist with humans who choose to remain plugged in

In all three, there is a strong underlying theme of circles and pi. The window is 314 seconds, the first three digits of pi are 3.14. The Matrix keeps starting over (this is the sixth time) which shows cyclical patterns. The people of Zion are revolting against the machines, and Smith is revolting against the machines and Zion. Those are both revolutions. It is also a reference to the last book in the Bible (Revelations) where they have the end of time, the ultimate battle (Armageddon) and the Anti-Christ fighting Christ (Neo vs Smith)

I believe REVOLUTIONS is a Revolution in the Matrix Cycle itself. Everytime, the onE reaches the Architect and goes on to the source and Zion is destroyed and rebuilt and the Matrix is RELOADED. But this time that chain is broken i.e there is a revolution.

i assume revolutions is derived from the word revolve which is what you all appear to be suggesting. you will have noticed that when neo was on his way to see the oracle his reflection in the window from the rear seat of the car is the same as before when he went to see the oracle in Matrix 1. infact a lot of the happenings in revolutions were complimentary to what happened in the original movie. off the top of my head id say that more or less everything that happened in the trilogy had already hapened in the matrix before but to a lesser degree. who knows? as far as the matrix goes it could happen all over again on an even more complex scale and the oracle/architect may go to war for the fredom/enslavement and she (The Oracle) may again make a prophesy of the return of the one.

that would make a catchy title in a few years (return of the one)
