question about Persephone and her hasband

Hi I'm new on this forum
I saw the three part of matrix and I have some knowledge about the charecters like neo = one and it indicates to the jesus and morphios indicates to the john in bible and God of the dream in the mytholgy of greek.But I'm confusing about the meaning of Persephone and her hasband as I know the Persephone is a god of the under world in the mythology of greek and in wagner music ( Parsifal) is a sexuality .
so may some one tell me what the persephoni and her hasband indicate?
