notice how there are always numbers involved in the matrix? Neo(one), the twins(2), and Trinity(3). Here are some theories as to what these numbers mean.

Neo is the most obvious as it is a "word scramble" of the word "one", meaning that he's the only one that has the great powers that he has

The Twins represent 2, a little less important than the others, but notice how they have two forms (regular and ghost) and their ghost form has two purposes(passing through walls and healing). Speaking of which, since it is hinted that the Merovingian has supernatural beings in his service, hence the "silver bullet" reference, would ghost sitings actually be sightings of the twins?

Trinity represents 3, it was thought that this meant the Christian trinity, but in an interview with the Wychosky(hope I spelled that right) brothers, they said that Neo doesn't have to do with the Christain trinity, he's just a general massiah, but one thing that I think Trinity does represent is that she's usually found in a group of three(Neo, Morpheus and herself) or a multiple of three(in the first matrix movie there were 9 crew members including Neo), not of huge importance

Even though they never said this and it hasn't really been hinted at, I've always thought of Smith as zero, because zero is a number that seems to be without a purpose, it "infects" other numbers in the multiplication and divsion processes, it doesn't fit in. Also, binary is made up of ones and zeroes, since Neo is the one, it'd be logical for Smith to be the zero, since zero is the enemy of one. Speaking of binary, is it a rumor or is it actually true that binary sometimes has 2s in it? Well, that's my 2 testicles(not pun intended)

Well cipher is 0. Pushing Smith to be 0 is a unecessary, we have to remember if this is the firt One to fell LOVE then this is the First Trinity, and she's also specail.

Trinity hasn't serve her purpose, now she has to fill the role of ISIS and go after her husband. The explanation of binary is explained othe site and it even goes as far as to count the number of glasses on the Merovingians table.

I dont believe the Numbers have a great importance in the plot of the movie, besides providing connections. Not really resolutions for Revolutions.

In my theories (not about matrix, but my theories about the world) zero means also infinite. If zero is nothing and empty, this is uncountable, such as infinite.

Fire never dies alone.
