»Morpheus is a program«

Ok so I first came up with this when watching the original matrix when agent smith called him morpheus instead of his old matix name which he insits on calling everyone by. I think he was made by the mechines and had a program downloaded into him (like what smith did into bane) and he was put with the 4 males, 6 females, (whatever the combonation of people was the has to rebuid zion) to start the prophesy about the one ect.

What do you think?

It is within my theories also that Moprheus was 'planned' by the machines.

He is in fact still a 'blue pill' carrying out a function in the meisure of control.

I also see Neo as a 'blue pill'. Only when Neo says no to the Architect, he becomes a true 'red pill'.

Morpheus was not among the founders of the sixth installment of Zion, because then he had to be above a hundred years of age.

The reason why Smith doesn't know his name isn't really important. Maybe Smith hasn't access to this information, so that Morpheus is known to him only as a true terrorist and nothing else. Or maybe Morpheus was an orphan too, leaving the Matrix at a very young age.
