Hi, my first post on the forums. Been a fan of the matrix for quite some time. I am also quite a fan of George A. Romero's dead films.

So, I decided why not try to combine the two?

Well, it's still in concept form. Tell me if you think it has any merit at all (being that you all know much more about the matrix then me)


Basicly it takes place 20 years after the machine truce. A rocky peace has filled the world since Neo's sacrifice.

Zion became the first of many human cities to fill the world. Humans have once again began to populate the surface. Farming of geneticly modified wheat, and other produce has began to replace the portein gruel of past generations.

Zion's population and industrial capabilties have increased to a significant point.

Human and Machine scientists have made progress in destroying the nanobots that darken the sky. However, not everyone in the machine world wants this to happen. While clear skys would benefit the majority of machine. A few rouge's do not want this to happen.

The agents of the matrix would be terminated as the matrix itself would no longer be needed. These agents want the matrix to return back it's former glory.

Sects of humanity still despise the machines and do not wish for peace. These two groups find common ground in their wish for War.

The machines program a virus that spreads through the virtual world, infecting the machines of the real world and those in the matrix. Turning the minds of those in the matrix into zombies

Killing programs and humans alike

The humans release a biological virus into the matrix, infecting the protein goup that keeps the humans in pods alive. Killing them, these people are recycled and their infected goup spread to more people.

The machines blame the humans for releasing the program into the matrix.
The humans blame the machines for releasing the biological virus.

Now a group of humans and agents race to find a cure for both virus's before war breaks out with sunlight so close.

600 years of conflict have finaly come to an end.
