Several things to notice:
1. He's bleeding by the chest. That can't be good.
2. ALL of the squiddies' lights are off, so maybe Neo fried them for him (see the revolutions trailers)
3. At they have the new revolutions music, and on of the songs is KIDFRIED. KID is his name, and FRIED is like getting killed.  Hmmm....

In an interview, Laurence Fishburne said that in the first movie, Morpheus is a teacher, in the second, a kernal, and in the third, a MAN. MEN DIE.

In an interview, Keanau (sp?) Reeves states that the three movies follow a basic sequence. Birth, Life and Death. The first movie was about birth as we saw Neo being born again outside the Matrix. In Reloaded we saw lots of talk about purpose and the 'very purpose of our lives'. Revolutions, obviously, will be about death.
So what does this mean? I don't know, but I voted for a Neo death, in some form or another. There's probably going to be more death as well. Based on the characters name and the significance behind it, I would suspect Niobe is going to be pushing daisies as well. Persephone will 'leave' to go somewhere else, and if that's death or not remains to be seen. Smith might die in some shape or form as well. The Oracle might find her end as well. Remember, her purpose would likely be over.
So in conclusion, get ready for a lot of death come Revolutions. |
