He's just a man. Maybe those goon programs need that kind of encouragement. Who knows what kind of programs they have fought against. Seraph seems to be a program written just to fight, as he can match anyone's level to ID them. So, if they are used to having to fight forces like that, then damn! The blood thing is not the issue, it was just a sign of weakness. The agent on the tractor trailer bled when Morpheus got all Lone Wolf on his ass.
