I suspect that the W brothers are alluding to the fact that secret societies do exist and that there is somebody on top pulling all the strings. Hence the symbolism of Jesus, the Merovingian, the Architect, Machines, etc. I think the machines are supposed to be like the real Illuminati secret society and its players.

I don't think think that the Movie is promoting the New World Order (NWO) , but rather trying to show the common man how he's being manipulated without knowing it (inside the Matrix) and it's more of a warning against NWO global control.

The people living in Zion are there because they figured it out already and are ACTIVISTS trying to wake other people up.

You have to really read between the lines. . . .fiction movies are a great way to spill the beans on stuff we're not supposed to know about. . . just my opinion for what it's worth.

What I am trying to say here is that fiction movies can be a conduit for getting the word out about an issue. Mainstream media is censored . . . only six corporations own the airwaves in the US: Disney, Viacom, GE, (I can't remember all of them).

Controversial topics are left out of news, books don't get published, articles don't go to press.

I can see a shread of truth in this too, mainly because of the use of martial arts, which added beauty and choriography to the films. Not sure about the Aryan Path because I don't know if you're referring to Nazis or something else.

I think the analogy of Neo being like Jesus Christ is obvious, but he could also be Saddartha, etc.

But I definitely think this movie trilogy is trying to reveal some underlying message. Just look at V for Vendetta, another Wachowski Brothers film (even though they didn't write it). It is
again about disutopian society with a facist/controlling government, media cencorship and police force. The Matrix has this too, with the oppressive control of the machines and how they have enslaved humanity, sentium programs . . .

Both stories are not unlike the real world with globalization, the IMF, World Bank, G8 Summit, corporate-government control, dumbing down of sociiety, media cencorship, riot squads etc.

I will say though I am enjoying this philosophical dialogue with all of you. . . It's very cool!
