Is the Matrix a propaganda tool for the Freemasons ?
The Matrix trilogy is littered with References to
Zion( The promised land, from which the knights Templar emerged)
Merovingian(supposedly bloodline of Jesus)
Trinity (The father, son and holy ghost)
Neo The one ( The Messiah)
Nebuchadnezzer (Babylon ruler Who Destroyed Jerusalem, Main City of Zion)
There are just too much to mention.
Also, is it coincidence that Monica Bellucci plays Persephone, partner to Merovingian in the Matrix and also plays part in Passion of christ as Mary Magdalene ( do you see the connection)

There is definitely a reoccurring Message in all this films.

From the moment I heard the word "Merovingian" back the Summer of in 2003, I knew we were in Holy Grail territory here. There was a definite Gnostic subtext struck through the entire second film, and the references are far too obvious to not be noticed.

But the Brothers have stuck so many references into their films that it comes as little real surprise that they'd stick in the greatest conspiracy theory ever known. Hardly "propaganda", in my view.

1. The Hero with a Christ like face and dark hair.

One source says that Jesus was an Avatar and his previous incarnations were Melchizedek and Enoch. Enoch was the 7th generation after Adam and walked with God. Melchizedek was without a mother, a very good trick.

Masons are involved in all sorts of charity work, often helping children in the community. One great cause that Scottish Rite Masons volunteer time and money to is the 32nd Degree Masonic Learning Centers (32nd degree just means Scottish Rite Mason).

Shriners, Free Masons, Knights of Columbus, all those groups are similar. Their historic past is what's shouded in mystery. There's good guys and bad guys in every organization. Look at the United Way . .

Shriners are Freemasons. The Shrine is an appendant body of Freemasonry. Until recently it was open to all Scottish Rite or York Rite masons, now it's open to any Master Mason.

The Knights of Columbus are Catholicism's version of the Masons as historically there has been a Catholic edict against Catholics becoming masons (this has been lifted since, though not all Catholics realize that).
