Hi Friends,
I think most people miss the point of the movie.
For the average person, it is an awesome adventure
movie and it doesn't matter what questions are
unanswered in Revolutions. Why? The average movie-goer
won't think deep enough to miss anything.
For the thinkers, there are a lot of unanswered questions
as the author of this site points out on the homepage.
These unanswered questions are only really unanswered
if one thinks that a question will really solve anything.
For the deeper thinkers, the answer to the whole
shebang is more than obvious.
First of all, the term "MATRIX" was coined by Ingo Swann,
a natural psychic who was in the Army and helped to
develop remote viewing for a psychic espionage program
at Stanford Researc Institute. He used the term "MATRIX"
to represent the collective unconscious. Anyone familiar
with Carl Jung's model of consciousness will be familiar
with the concept of the collective unconscious. Jung however
never invented this model as people like to think, it has
been around for thousands of years.
Of course it wouldn't be obvious to people where the term
MATRIX came from and how it was applied to consciousness.
But...anyway...
The Real World is the world as IT IS.
The MATRIX in the movie represents the world as
the judging part of our mind...the part of our mind that
is tempted to create meaning out of information/data.
It is the world as we make it up...the illusionary world.
There is the INNATE beingness of the world and then
there is the PERCEIVED beingness of the world. Every
person is seeing the world as they PERCEIVE it to be
out of JUDGEMENT.
Taking the pill to "go down the rabbits hole" is emblematical
of a human being coming to an awakening in their
consciousness to realize who they truly are at the core
of their being and that the world/self as they believed
themselves to be was only an illusion all the time.
Then one turns from a slave to their ego to a master of it.
Then one is "awakened" or "enlightened" or "christed".
That is a resurrection and when one realizes that their
ego was illusionary, the "body" dies at that point and one
is reborn into spirit...that is the resurrection.
Anyway, what I find exciting about the movie is the possibility
of downloading kung fu or helicopter flying instructions to
the mind in an instant.
This is a bold statement, but one that can be easily proven...
my partners invented the actual technology that concept
is based on.
It is called rapid data transfer...the ability to transfer
millions upon millions on instructions into the subconscious
mind in only a few minutes. The subconscious mind captures
that info into a "buffer" and then the brain creates the
connections that correspond to the instructions little by little.
Take care and I'll look forward to putting more of my
opinions on the theory behin the matrix here.
