Hi everyone, great to be here.

My questons is, what exactly happened to the Matrix after the war? I know people where given a choice to accept the program or to reject it, but for the people who rejected it...did they just carry on with everyday life as usual? Was the Matrix exactly the same? Was there any changes made? I know Agents stopped hunting down the people who accepted the red pill but will somone answer my other questions?

Hm.. I don't have the answer for all these questions.. A matrix online gamer should answer these. Feral Boy? Aaah, is there anything better than to post here and to drink something

It would be great to see them make another three sequels but its never going to happen. Them Wachowski brothers are never going to give us the answers which is really frustrating.

Prechering? Are you sure you don't mean 'pressuring'?

Aha, now I get what you're saying.

I doubt very much they will give in to fan pressure. It's already been three years since they made Revolutions, so they've been battling fan pressure for a long time. That's why I don't think they'll give in, plus, there isn't really any hardcore pressure put amongst their shoulders.

Whoa.

Feral Boy, you are officially the new archivist. Keep bringing this type of stuff out for us. And when subjects come up over there that we talked (or are talking) about, give us some of those plugs you've been giving. Smile

Will do. It's a little frustrating at times, because the vast majority of players are only interested in what's happening right now and don't seem to care much at all about the history of it all. Almost every thread on the game's forum that talks about the Pandora's Boxes talk about how to beat them, with basically no mention at all about the things you learn WHILE beating them.

But I'm hoping to find a few other players who are not only good at the game but also care about the kind of things we discuss over here. The Matrix Universe thread is basically dead over there now, as you well know. It's pretty sad.

The operative word here is "about". Actually, MxO has a few different prices. Right now is a great time to check it out because there is a free trial going on that includes 10 free days. You can join at

fileplanet.com...

If you decide to be a regular customer, you can pay a monthly fee of $14.99. It's less per month if you pay in advance for longer periods of time, up to a whole year.

If you like the other games that are available at
station.sony.com...
you can pay $24.99 per month for access to all of them. You still have to pay a one-time fee for each game you want to play, of course.

I don't believe that MxO is available in stores anymore, though, but you can download it at
direct2drive.com...
for $19.99. The official Prima Guide is also available there, but certain aspects are now a little outdated (they said they would offer upgrades to the guide periodically, but I don't know how well they're keeping up).

Anyway, that's the lowdown. So take the free trial and make up your own damn mind if you like it or not. You know you will though...soon enough the Matrix will have you. Mwahahahahahaha!

Well, Inev kinda predicted that so I guess you can say it was and "inevitability". It seems that you and rainking are about the last (or first, idk) of the true '1% of test subjects who refuse the program'.

Now that the game's plot is getting deeper, if this trend continues, you may well see those who care about the story in game soon, like The Awakened, Tozy, Vanexel, and others.

It's so weird, because sometimes I feel just like that! The game is designed so that if you want to advance, you have to adopt a side and view the other sides as an enemy. You can go solo if you like, but you miss out on a lot of stuff. Some people make up for that by creating multiple characters and having one on each side (you can create more than one in-game character, for those who didn't know that), so that they don't miss out on anything. But I always thought it was counter to the spirit of what the movies were trying to say to encourage this sort of us/them mentality. Although if the Wachowski Brothers are simply trying to make a point about how naturally this sort of thing occurs in the real world, they succeeded big time.

That would be fantastic. I'd like to see others in the game from this forum, besides the ones you just mentioned. Yes, that would be just about fantastic.

They sure did. I thought they said in advance that the first year would have the theme, 'peace and what people do to break/wreck it', or something like that. And this is a real world perspective of this. I'll leave the spiritual perspective to Tozy and Inev to post on, for now. Wink

I agree with you and rainking has posted quite a bit on the subject. For example,

mxoboards.station.sony.com...

3Tooth You were already ruled yourself out when you said you had dial-up. If you're on a hostile sever, that might be your undoing, lol! But Agame should play, too. That's a good name for it. You tell them, "you better bring your A Game" Whitelaugh

No ADSL technology at the area that I live. The annoying thing is that a few blocks far from me there is ADSL availability!

well.. in greek, agamos = he that is not married. So if I called agame 'agame' it would be as if I was commenting on his marital status! Whitelaugh

PS It could also mean that he has never had sex before. Whitelaugh
