i think that this question has been asked brfore but can u tell me what would have happened if Neo would have been killed by Smith when the keymaker was taking him to the Architect?
because by that time the machines were already diging and they were about to distroy Zion...that means Matrix would not have Reloaded and crashed!

and one more question..why Smith was not able to copy him self on to Neo in M2 ?

I think that Neo couldn't be killed. At least not before he reaches Architects chamber and make a choice. Now if you are talking about Neo being killed at the 'Real World' (e.g by Bane's knife).. I have no idea!

Uh.. maybe you haven't understand something. The Matrix hasn't reloaded at the Matrix Reloaded. Neo chose the other door.

Now let's get to your other question. Maybe Neo's mind is more strong than Smith thinks. Or maybe that's not possible because the System needs Neo to get to the Architect chamber and make a choice. (See also the answer to your first question).

Any idea anyone else?
