I should say that it's not about the future per se but it could pertain to any possible future scenario that would have disasterous results to many.

But why are you guys so hung up on machines? Do you honestly believe, first of all, that A.I. is a real potential danger? And do you think that's what the movie is all about? And last, on what do you base your ideas on the film.

Asimov's AI laws are notably absent from any plot related to the machines and it might be a big mistake to conclude that the writers even intended a connection with Asimov's philosophy...at least anymore than the other philosophies referenced in the film(s).

paranoia definatly hurts us, but sometimes it helps us too...

I meant the other philosophies in the films that have nothing to do with AI at all.

The movie seems more akin to those than anything related to A.I., which is only mentioned in the first film and only once.

when one is paraniod, things get very scary and can potentionally break a person. However, When paraniod for a legitamate reason, your senses are at the most acute, and chances of survival almost triple. EVERYTHING that is in these movies is there for a specific reason. I think there are only 2 poeple that actually know what is going on here.

Info from 'the Matrix Revisited' DVD: In order to show to the audience that now that Neo knows that his Matrix life was a lie they tried to make the whole ride through Chinatown to the Oracle to seem fake. So Green Screen wasn't enough..

They used a rear projecting system that was showing recorded video.. look at the picture and you should understand what I'm saying:
