So I said I'd write a synopsis--
These dreams began when I was fairly young (early elementary school). The first important one involved this monster with long claws chasing me. I ran at first like any little kid in a nightmare, but then I realized I didn't have to run. So I turned around, pulled out a gun, and shot it between the eyes. It fell over dead, and I (for some odd reason) took it's hand, which was just a part of the monster costume, and put it on.
From then on monsters could never bug me in my dreams, because that hand was a weapon against them. Years later (late elementary school) I was brought into a dream world that felt more real than this world. And these ethereal creatures (I called them elves in waking life, but I don't know what they were in the dream) told me that they were giving me a charge. A small reflective orb that I had to keep safe.
The orb was a key to all existence, and it was reflective, but also prismatic, shining and playful.
Not too long after that I began to be chased by these people. They looked mostly like regular people, but their eyes were blank somehow. Some of them were friends I knew in waking life.
Finally I was approached by a being known as "The One." It was neither male or female, but it was evil. It was also all the people who had been hunting me. They were just shells for its mind. It already had one sphere, which was not a sphere, but a lattice of prismatic crystals tied together in an upside down pyrimidal shape. I stole that from the One.
After than I ran. I learned that I could always escape the One by waking up. In the dream world, that was the reason I was given for having a waking world, a place that the One had little influence on.
The only other weapon I had against the Ones was reflections. If one of the Ones were pierced with something reflective (shard of glass, polished sword, polished screw drive one time ...) then the spell would be broken and they would desolve.
In the One's pursuit of me I've travelled all through my dreamscape keeping both the whole and the shattered Sefirots (the shining sphere and the crystal lattice) as safe as I can. But complications have arisen from time to time.
So there's a synopsis of my wild dreams which have been going on for over a couple decades now. The sci-fi novel I posted a link to doesn't follow them exactly (they're a little tangental to make a good novel), but it captures quite a bit of the essence of them.
You can probably see why the Matrix films appealed to me when I saw them (especially once it turned out that Smith could infect and take over regular Joe Shmoes).
Crazey, huh?
