Trinty - Means the gathering of 3 people (She found Nero, maybe 3rd films means she will find another?)

Neo - ok means one if messed around but also means NEW, by Neo choosing the left door he has given a NEW direction to the Matrix

Morpheus - Greek god of Dreams, i have nothing on this one

Persephone - Daughter of Zeus and kidnapped by Pluto to rule the underworld ( is she with the Merovingian by force?)

Merovingian - Finish King - ties in with above, ruling the under world

Serph - A angel with SIX wings, Neo is the SIXTH one.

Im thinking more along the lines of that the Matrix has been around since the creation of man ( ie Machines created man) Once religion was lost ( people are losing their faith everyday in the real world) they replaced religion with the whole One thing. For me zion is not real. the matrix is not real, the real world is not real and we will finally see what the REAL world looks like in Revolutions

There is both a Mt Zion and a city named Zion in the bible. After capturing Mt Zion, Hebrew king David established his residence in the city of Zion, which was renamed "City of David"
