then why when he saw the Smiths, why didn't he warn her or have her come with him and Sati?
And if you suppose that possibly the Oracle told him to leave her, they why didn't Sati at least say to Seraph, "maybe we should get the Oracle to come with us"
?

Sati does as she's told. I don't even think she knows about Smith being after them until he's after them.

Plus, the Oracle had to be there in order to be assimilated. It's all a part of her "dangerous game" to instigate "change".
