For seven years I had that matrix splinter in my head.
Not a day went by without thought on the matrix...

Before matrix(BM) I had no interest in computing, philosophy
zen,..

After matrix(AM) I was a completely different person...
The matrix became an obssesion, I just felt it had some kind of answer to my life.

Now with the release of V for vendetta the new rabbit
hole, I feel free. My country is governed by a dictator
so I will not get to see the film for a long time.

So now in the AM (morning)
the dawn of a new day begins...
I think the 5 of November is going to be interesting.

I think a lot of people are obsessed with the matrix,
and it made a lot of people kinda "wake up" .. at least for a while, and look for the truth and see the flaws in this world..
and then the world starts to seem like a dream and people start to go crazy.


"The answer is out there. it's looking for you, and it will find you if you want it to."

I think the Matrix has done a service to modern society by prompting us to ask the "big questions" via a popular medium. In the end it's not about dodging bullets and learning Kung Fu by download. It's about facing reality and accepting that in the end reality may not be as intoxicating as fantasy but it is the one thing fantasy CANNOT be...it is real. And ultimately it is the only thing that really matters. There are many distractions in our lives but the Matrix challenges us to ask ourselves "what really matters"? The Wachowski Brothers Studied Zen Bhuddism, Hinduism, Marxism, and Christianity in composing Matrix. All of these seek to find a greater truth in life. It's not surprising Matrix has helped a lot of people see life differently. Maybe it's helped a lot of us put down our I-pods and the things we felt "mattered" before and perhaps look at the way we lived our lives.

dude, what was the point of those pictures...

the trilogy also made me become a aware of the "truth" that our world migth be an illusion.
maybe the truth about the world is a lie?
