I think V is a continuation of the concepts addressed in the matrix.

Why do you believe this? And the first draft of Wacho's adaptation of V for Vendetta is older that the first draft of the original matrix..

Perhaps "continuation" was not the best word to use. But the subtext to the Matrix and V is closely related. Think about the second matrix or the oppressive world that the Smith would have running. The system becoming oppressive is what makes V's happen.

Edit: And you can't use the age of an original script (even if it is true) as support for or against the relation of two "finished" products unless you can point out the timeline of editions and changes made. Wink

Hm.You propably are right. And the script changed a lot from the first draft as the director told at an interview..At first it was very close to the comic series..

Hm.. Just a thought:

Matrix: people are slaves to the machines!
V for Vendetta: people are slaves to Humans!

p.s Haha!People should not be afraid of their goverments..They should be afraid of Machines! 3Tooth
