Its at this point that it is obvious: Neo's path is already made, and somebody already knows exactly what it is.

You could say it's just Trinity, isn't that what Neo assumes later on?

You could say it's the oracle. She knows the path..

But the oracle is really just a creation of the Architect.

Watching M1 after M2, you almost want to believe that the one who first talks to Neo on his computer..

is not trinity..

or the oracle...

but ..

THE ARCHITECT!

What the hell are you talking about? When the movie begins, Trinity and Cypher are talking to eachother. It is obvious that they are watching Neo because Cypher said: You like watching him, don't you? The architect didn't need to type on Neo's screen. He indirectly made Trinity type on Neo's computer through Morpheus, who was listening to the Oracle, who was written by himself. You have to understand that the Architect is a program that not only wrote the Matrix, but who can forsee things to come (i.e. the television screens showing all types of different outcomes from a single event)

Have you ever thought that Trinity is the control.... After all LOVE is a control... Your thoughts please...

I suppose one could say emotions and desire are forms of control, but really, how can you force someone to love you? That would have to come from within Neo. the Architect mentions how he was sort of geared to be receptable to feel empathy for fellow humans, to love, but Neo's feelings came out quite differently. I dont see how Trinity could really be an effective control- love, like all emotions, is too unpredictable.

On the other hand, when I first saw Reloaded I had wondered after noting all the hell/Zion references if maybe Neo was being tricked all along and that Morpheus, Trinity, et al were evil, and that the whole orgy-rave was a kind of sex ritual to lead him to get it on with Trinity and diseminate his code into her, BUT the troubling dream interupted the moment, and saved him.

What I meant was that your actions can be controlled because of your love for someone/something...
So Love can be controlling... It can affect the choices that you make...

Come on...It is obvious that it is Trinity that was watching Neo in the Matrix1, and types "Follow the White Rabbit". She was talking to Cypher in the opening scene. Another poster here observed that he askes her whether she (Trinity) enjoys watching Neo. I rest my case.

In regards to the Archetect....it is not the Archetect that sends the note to Neo. Why would the archetect do this? At this point of the film, Morphious is the only character that beleives that Neo is the One. Remember the Agents say that they now know who the "next target" is after crashing the truck into the telephone in their attempt to terminate Trinity. When the agants had Neo, he was not the primary objective...it was Morpheous and the Zion codes.

Regarding De Jour, The whole White Rabbit thing is an Alice in Wonderland metaphor. It is a great tool to move the plot forward and send accross some of the themes the Brothers are exploring.....this is a FILM. Some of these things are plot devices/figurative images....please take a class in Film.

In regards to Love as a control...No......Tell me who can control Love?????
