There is an article in the August 2003 issue of FORTEAN TIMES entitled "The Other One" (p30-32) by Elizabeth Wu. The article is about Jake Horsley, who has just published a book entitled "Matrix Warrior: Being the One" by Gollancz.

It seems that Horsley (website at divinevirus.com...) has used the MATRIX as a basis for an extended philosophy of transcending life through intense lucidity.
