Gotta watch "The Matrix Revisited" for the first film. There's one made I think for all three, but the first one is excellent. You get more outta those two wachos there than I ever found online or anywhere else.

The Wachowskis are sitting together on a sofa being interviewed. They're hilarious when talking, both sounding as if they're half asleep, yet still very intelligent. Larry does most of the talking. He says how a friend of theirs asked them to write a movie (doesn't give the who or why). Goes on to say they came up with a trilogy, originally in comic-book format, and that they eventually sold it to WB. The producer (not Joel Silver but someone else) had told them there's no way WB would buy them for it as first-time directors. So, they wrote "Bound" and directed it to prove they could do this.

So yeah, they talk about having put it all together before day one of production, so I'm totally unconvinced that script was written by them. After reading a lot of forgers here writing scripts of matrix continuations, I can usually spot one, and that one had all the signs of being a synthesized Wachowski work (albeit an impressive one).

Anyhow, DEFINITELY check out Matrix Revisited
