isn't everybody in the world going to be like, "who was that guy in the black suit who stuck his hand inside of me?" and then their friend says, "oh my god the same thing happended to me" and isn't everybody going to be like, "how did we all wind up in this building?" (the building where all the Smiths were watching the final fight), and what does GWB say the next day? the people in the matrix have to be in a state of pure chaos the next day, especially if Smith was molesting all the children, like he molested Sati...

I dont think that assimilated minds (by agents) have memory of it, as mentioned in another topic.

Indeed! They all wake up in their beds, just like Neo did when he was in the interrogation room.

Did You Hear The Orcle?
She Made Sure That "The Others" Would Be Jacked Out. I Think Everyone Is Gonna Have A Choice, They Can Stay In And Live In A Video Game Like World And Help The Machines...Or They Can Live In The Real World.

But thats Just What I Think

Sparks:"I know you don't care about your lives. But please try to think of something of meaning, like my life."
Ghost & Niobe:"Sparks, shut up."

Here is a quote from the Sentinel, the bluepill newspaper which is a part of the Matrix Online game. This edition of the Sentinel was published shortly after the events from the end of the trilogy. You can find the full edition at

thematrix.rumbaar.net...

Quote:

Most citizens seem unshaken by the surprise weather. "Frankly, I don't much recall any of the storm," one man in a local coffee shop said, a sentiment echoed by others.
"Dark, noisy, some guys losing their tempers and having some kind of fight - or was that a dream I had?"
A chic young woman in mirrored sunglasses chimed in. "Maybe you remember standing around with a lot of others who looked just like you?"
With that enigmatic comment, she took her latte and left.
"Hey - yeah I don't really remember," replied the man. He seemed a little confused. Or maybe he was just distracted by her skintight latex slacks.

So they saw the fight, but it was blurry and seemed like a dream to them.

Exactly. Probably no different than any other time an agent takes over a human's RSI for any amount of time. They're disoriented and might have a vague recollection of what happened while they were "gone" but no real sense of the truth of the matter. I've just always wondered what happens to the consciousness of a person when they're taken over by an agent. Do they get forced into the mental equivalent of sleep? Can they see and hear what the agent is seeing and hearing? Are they fully awake but see nothing but darkness? Who knows. It would be a huge security issue if people could be aware of much of anything.

Here's another question I just thought of. Do agents spend most of their time NOT in a person's RSI--like in a memory buffer somewhere or something like that? I can't imagine that they're borrowing somebody's RSI 24/7. Unless they've got certain bluepills earmarked for this very purpose, which I highly doubt. I mean, can you imagine being taken over by an agent even just for a few days? You wake up and almost a whole week has gone by. How do you explain that to your spouse? Your boss? Oh, the drama! Oh, the humanity!
