[Matrix Reloaded]
Lock: "I believe I need every ship we have if we're going to survive this attack!"
Councillor Hamann: "I understand that, Commander."
Lock: "Then why did you allow the Nebuchadnezzar to leave?"
Councillor Hamann: "Because I believe our survival depends on more than how many ships we have."

That's all and well.

But could you please explain then why Sati and her family are there at the exact same time as Neo?

I know that the machine world is bound with purpose and faith, but that goes a little bit too far for me.

The family must be there for a logical reason in the timeline. It cannot be a coincidence.

It's for sure that it was needed for Neo to meet them. It made him realize that programs are loving creatures too.

But it cannot be because of magic that they are there at the exact same time as Neo.

There has to be something to it.

Sati is there just after the aborting of the inserting of the new prime program plus she looks a bit like the Oracle (skin color and clothes). And why do I think the Oracle is the prime program? Well because she knows everything...I think she is integrally connected with every bluepill; there is no magic or religion there, just a prime program doing it's work.

The Oracle is NOT the Prime Program the Architect was talking about.

Correct. I think the abortion was about Sati; she should have been the newly inserted prime program.

I think the prime program/Oracle gets reset/reloaded/recompiled just like all the other programs; like the Keymaker for example.

I have a very different concept of the prime program. I brought up my ideas on who/what the prime program is on another thread. Here is that post reposted-

This singular consciousness, what is it? What is its connection to the Source? A lot of people have thrown out a lot of speculation on what the Architect's mention of a "primary program" is refering to. Could that "primary program" be tied to Morpheus mention of this "singular consciouness?" If so, then Neo carries with-in himself something very unique and powerful indeed.

The Prime program is simply the matrix running at 100% acceptance with no anomaly present.

I agree with all that except the "simply." I think the primary program is just that, the primary program. It is the highest "class" in the Matrix (class in programming terms). It is the super class that all others inherit.

so then if the current PP is causing so much of an uprising then why not delete it and make another one, one which will follow the intended path of the PP? makes sense to me.

True, but from whose standpoint? The Architect's speech deals with the functioning of the Matrix not AI in general. So the "highest" or "first" in the order of importance in context with that speech would most likely be the Matrix.

Now if Deus had mentioned it...well that would be opening up a can of worms.

Thanks for the support {Morpheus}. You've hit the nail right on the head too. The Primary Program is derived from the One.

Or is the One derived from the need for a prime program?

Ah, very good Smile The Path of the One is a routine designed to shape the integral anamoly into the primary program, to bring the most poweful force of freewill in the Matrix under control and turn it into the very system of control it fought against. This is a common problem for messiahs. The Frank Herbert Dune books discuss this aspect of messianic emergence fairly in-depth.

Thanks, intell. I'm still a little off kilter from all of it (it was all pretty out of the blue), and I don't know exactly what I'm going to do. But at least it's nice to be back and discussing the Matrix again Aaah, is there anything better than to post here and to drink something

everything has purpose, and purpose is one big circle of cause & effect the need for the PP is evident the need for a carrier also arises that is where neo comes in his purpose is to carry the PP until the time comes to re-insert it into tthe matrix. and it should be self-explanatory from there

Hey Capt! Good to have you back! Sorry, too, to hear the circumstances, though.
I invite you over to the Smith-thread (matrix-explained.com...). I am on vacation and can sneak in only a few minutes per day...
