A friend of mine had been doing some thinking and came up with the questions below. Although I consider myself more informed about the mythology og the movies than him, I was unable to answer them...any ideas?

1. do programs have any physical representation outside of the matrix, in the real-world or elsewhere? and how is a program's RSI created, how does a program see itself?

2. where were sati's parents going when they had to leave to save her? i suppose its the source, but to be deleted?...

...and so what would happen to their functions in the matrix? who takes over "operations systems manager" whatever that is?

3. so sati's purpose is to make the sun rise in the matrix?

4. did her parents "write" her together? the equivalent of human copulation, is this why there exists a connection between them and can anyone define this connection specificly?

my head hurts.

Well first i think that the programs dont have a physical representation, just like in reality we dont see a physical representation of Power Point .

2. I think Sati´s parents are going to be deleted, and Sati if going to hide somewhere, i think that they will be replaced for newer versions of themselves.

3. I think that yes, her purpose is to do that.

4. I dont think so , i think that they were created to "think" that they created her.

maybe you're onto something with the powerpoint analogy... in the matrix, programs are identified like an icon distinguishes one program from another on your computer. but it must be put on a cd or other media to be removed from the computer, thus it never has a physical form. it is on the cd, but it is not the actual cd itself.
so a program's RSI is similar to an desktop icon. hmmmm

maybe the train-man's train is like a thumb drive.

I don't think so. A program is a code-set running it's routines. I think a program can run in the Matrix without being really connected to an individual physical machine. If this is the case, then unwanted exiles could be easily deleted by just shutting down the machine-part which they run on.

No, back to the 'Machine World' where they probably live in some kind of Matrix too. Anyway, they returned because of their karma; they returned to keep performing their purpose: programming interactive software and maintaining the power plant.

Rationally, I think yes, but irrationally I think her purpose goes beyond anything. Only the Oracle seems to understand this.

I think there was no real copulation. Every emotion and feeling is 'a word' in the AI-world. Rama and Kamala have a 'connection' of love so they mixed their programming talents in order to express this 'connection' of love.

And before you ask: yes the Merovingian can have sex, but this is probably because 'his program' hacks/uses a human brain as shell. Rama and Kamala are pure programs.

I think Rama and Kamala express the situation in the spirit world, where everything happens at the power and connection of thoughts. The Merovingian is more physically/materialistcly obsessed. He needs to 'feel' things, while in the end it's all an illusion.

And do you see the Merovigian having any children? While his wife is such a hot dish? No So programs can't really copulate.
