Does the Kid play any significant part in MxO? Anyone who has played it?

Well during the Assassin's final battle, the Assassin transforms himself into 6 of him. We the players kill 5, while in a cinematic, it is shown that someone whom looks like Kid kills the final Assassin.

Now we have this Cryptos dude who claims to be the leader of the Cypherites (traitors to Zion/want to save the Matrix/etc.) popping out of boxes (he is a magician btw) giving little speeches about control and authority and such. In one of the new cinematics we see him do this, while Kid (dressed exactly like Neo ) says something like, "This isn't right."

So does he play a significant role in MxO?

Not much at this point, except that we are getting a few glimbses at him.

Kid is a anagram for dik.

even though the KID seemed extremly important, he wasnt he didnt do anything, i though in part 3 he would do something great and he never did. seems useless too me

The kid is the personification of one who spontaneously becomes enlightened. Most of us have to walk a long path indeed in order to even get the opportunity to take the "red pill".
