»The Matrix is a Prophecy«

In the Matrix, there are alot of strange correlations with the Bible as I am sure many would agree. I believe I was shown some interesting insights into the movie last year by?

The Matrix itself is a computer program that programs the peoples minds to enjoy the slavery they do not know they are living as energy sources for the machines. They come to enjoy the program so much that judas would rather go back into the program than to live as a free person who has been awakened from being a battery and released into Zion. Zion in the Bible is the promised land. They are energy sources for "the machine."

In the world we live in today, we have become so accustomed to the comfortable lifestyles we live that we fail to recognize that we are slaves who have been programmed by "them" to not protest or recognize the state of our slavery. The media has us controlled, and filled with illusions just as the Matrix was an illusion that appeared to be real to the people "living" the program.

"They" choose our realities. Don't believe me? Who chooses what you learn in school, who decides what you watch on television?, why do credit card companies know so much about you, why are they so concerned? Why do you get a discount for using your special card at the store? Why can the media change a situation to put something negative in a positive light so quickly, or make it go away.

I won't go all into it right now, but I promise this has to do with a deeper message in the Matrix movie. Anyone interested, just post and I'll show you what I see in the Matrix.

I see that we live in a world in which we have become the pawns of someone elses reality. We have been programmed to look at the world as comfortable, although we are enslaved. You can go out and chop enough firewood in a weekend to heat your home for the winter, but you cannot go to work and work less than 40hrs a week to pay all the bills that have been developed to aid us in our "comfortable" lifestyle. We have turned our lives into an economic program that takes away from our true purpose in existing here. We are programmed daily, and allow ourselves to continue to be programmed through television, education, etc. Our reality has been created for us, and we continue to live it because no one has given us an "awakening."

So where am I going with this? We have been and are being blinded to where the world is headed and what is in store for us. The battle is real, and we are in the middle of it. The bible prophecies that in the end times there will be one world ruler, and a monetary society in which you cannot buy sell or trade without the mark. You will not even be allowed to live if you don't put a mark upon yourself that will allow you to conduct business. We are going to become an entirely digital society, controlled by computers. Credit cards, club cards, target marketing, world i.d.'s, etc. Sounds like a conspiracy, but it already exists. The point of the Matrix I believe is that some people will break free from the way the world is heading right now, and be around to see the world system for what it truly is. It is a message from God, kind of like a pre warning. God has put everything we need on this earth for free for us to live upon it and survive, but instead we have become enslaved by our desires, and programmed into becoming the gross domestic product. We are the products, we are the energy source for the machine, we keep it going, and that was not God's intent. The bible says "you cannot serve God and mammon." Business itself is not bad, it is becoming enslaved by it that is.

Thank you for pointing me to the PBS thread. I read quite a bit of it and enjoyed it immensely. I took some business and accounting classes in college, so it made some sense to me. I found it very interesting to learn in school that our economy thrives on the continuation of debt. Debt is the source of our continued economic society, and businesses thrive on the continued debt of people that can never pay, and become indebted to their manipulated desires kind of like drug dealers thrive on the addictions of addicts. So besides discussion of an awareness of the problems that plague the world, where is the prepartation/ solution for the ineveitability of the machine and it's take over. Do you sit idley by and become a battery or what? Not me!

I suggested a boycott of the Coppertop batteries years ago on a Marxist message board. After all these decades don't you think they know just about everything about alkaline batteries and can test and specify their performance? Why are people willing to pay to have all of that national advertising included in the price of batteries?

Buying a no name battery would be no hardship and it would send a message to the people running the corporate matrix.

No one seemed interested though. Haven't found any Marxists interested in making accounting mandatory in schools either. Had one accuse me of trying to save capitalism.

I'm not sure if you are serious or not, but feel free to share it. I went down to the beach @ Port Williams, and it was a full moon, and the reason I went there was because I felt I was going to be given a prophecy. So I went there, and walked on the beach in the light of the full moon (no joke), and the only thing I saw was when the light hit the water, for some reason I saw the green numbers from the Matrix running across the water, and just thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me. So I left bummed out, because I really believed God had told me I was going to receive a prophecy. Well over the next few days as I thought on it, and prayed about it, and it just dawned on me that the Matrix the movie is really a prophecy. I don't know about the second and third one, but I really believe the first one is. So I watched it again, and prayed on it, and it made alot of sense. I believe it is a message, whether intended or not, that we are going to live through the end times, during the antichrist, and that the rapture (not the second coming of Christ, but the magic time when the "christians" are pulled out of the end times), is a delusion. God will make a way for those whom He has called, and many people will choose not to be awakened and as a result, will be programmed and deluded by the antichrist. You'll see. I know I'm not tripping.

I find your prophecy interesting, it seems to make quite a bit of sense. Im a little unclear on what you said about the rapture, do you believe it will or will not occur?

As well i don't believe your seeing thins, only because today im positive that i saw something shoot across the room in front of me. I couldnt describe it, all i can tell you is that it was dark. As far as your views and beliefs on "the system" (Earth, Matrix, etc.) im right there with you, i to believe that it is a message, but im still skeptical on where it is comming from. For a while i believed that we were in a computer generated Matrix, and that the movie was a message from "unplugged" humans but i've matured (which is not always a good thing, because when we mature we begin to lose touch with Imagination, which could very well be reality outside the system, but we grow up and are taught to think "logically" without imagination and such) however now i am begining to believe that it is some kind of prophecy/ a view of enlightenment in our world.

If I'm not mistaken, the "word" rapture is only mentioned once in the Bible, but has been marketed as a predominant theme in the Bible by movies like the Left Behind series. I definitely believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. I believe that when He comes back we will all be caught up in the air with Him. The Bible is clear on that. But I believe the Christian people, and people in general have been fed a delusion that leads to complacency in the church. Ever wondered why they were so into killing the Christians in the stories in the New Testament? Why were they persecuted? They were changing the world rapidly, in a positive way. People who have a positive ability to change the world seem to mysteriously be killed. Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King, Martin Luther, etc. It is a change that speaks to the inside of people, it revolves around values and principles that are so true and intrinsically correct that people are willing to give their lives for them because they believe in them. These values can cause dynamic and rapid change, and it happens so quickly that the other side (whoever they are), get's scared and tries to kill the source. The end result of which spreads the message further, and makes it immortal. I believe we have the ability to change the world, but the frustrating part is that the world does not want to change because it is comfortable. We will sit idly by and allow ourselves to become enslaved to our wants, desires, and other peoples manipulative wills. It makes me sad really because I don't want to be a part of it, but it seems there is so much apathy, we have no choice. It does seem an impossible task to change the world when society is so stuck on the current program that they will not open their eyes to the truth. We will destroy the earth eventually, which seems sad because some of us have children that must live in the world we create, or allow to be created for them. They must be programmed in school to continue to follow the worlds plan, and be fed the information they choose to feed them. It's scary really, because we are like cattle being led into a pen, yet we have been made to believe anyone who talks this way is a conspirator.

I didn't mean to go that far, but it's into my heart. Back on subject, I believe in the endtimes, God's people will be dramatically affecting the world to the point where we become a threat to the current world system because of the changes we will bring. Just as the early apostles did. They are not threatened by God's people right now because we are apathetic. And I am not saying all of us are, so please don't jump me on this. But very few of us have gotten real with God, and sought him outside of religious undertones to come to know Him as real, and very powerful. The Bible says if we seek Him with our whole heart, we will find Him. It takes an intense need or desire to seek Him and need Him with your whole heart that you'll lay down all preconceived notions of Him, and allow Him to reveal Himself to you for who He really is. And He is wonderful and awesome. Beautiful really. Not trying to preach, I promise.

2 Thessalonians to says "for that day will not come until..."
Matthew 24 says "if those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

There is overwhelming scriptures to back up us being here during the tribulation. But for some reason we are being force fed the "rapture" of the church. Of which my definition being there are 7 years of tribulation, 3 1/2 of which are peace, and the rest of which are Hell. Some believe that we will be raptured before it gets bad. Untrue Matthew 24 clearly shows the truth, so does 2 thessalonians 2. It's in the Word clearly.
