After many years I saw the Matrix again. On the scene where Neo awakes as is 'rejected' from the capsules, I wondered if I can freeze the image and see Kean's weenie.. however I discovered that Neo has not a weenie!

We can of course suspect that it was only a cover so that the actor's privates wouldn't appear in common view, but the most probable is that Matrix humans are not reproductive!

Indeed it's not explained how humans are grown in the crops and how life cycle is in the Matrix (it can be like the first Sims game, where kids are adopted from nowhere ) but I suspected that the machines somehow capture the sperm and eggs of humans and medically fertilise them. When a baby is born, his respective mother is pregnant in the Matrix. Gestation ends when the baby is connected.

My theory, but a logical one

However if we accept the absence of reproductive organs, we must assume that humans are born sterile. Therefore babies are clones or just random production from a gene depository kept by the machines. Except that, they are not normal humans but genetically modified, since they don't have rination organs as well, so their digestion is different

Unfortunately all this means that all humans rescued from the Matrix are eunuchs and sterile. Neo no way could make kids with Trinity even if they lived after the war, same applies to Morpheus, Niobe and everyone else. The future of humanity laid only in the hands of Zionites

We know that each new Zion starts off with headplugged-humans, so the 'pure' born are offspring from them.

In the scene where Neo and Trinity are fornicating, we don't see if Neo is using or not a god to give to Trinity the pleasure he can't have.

This is a typical example of the theories you can have thanks to the lack of information in the trilogy

I think indeed the motivation to live would be minimum, because almost everything we do is, directly or indirectly, on the short term or on the long term, meant to fuck our brains out.

All the other things we do are substitutes in order to 'distract' our libido's. In fact we are converting the sexual frustrations we experience into fruitfull productive actions.

So living without a dick is possible but it would be dull and without inspiration

I know that many people want to get rid of their weenie, or to be more accuate, the nuts. The effects are known as 'eunuch calm' and is sought by many who have excessive libido, loss of concentration etc

End of the day, it's just someone seeing a story where there is none - Matrix 1 = film made on a fairly small budget (the Wachowskis might've been sure that it would be a hit, but WB weren't so optimistic quite possibly), badly-lit scene, crotch area is visible on Keanu Reeve's skin-coloured drysuit (or it could be a wetsuit, but drysuit would make more sense)... It's nothing more than that. You clearly see him when he and Trin are havin' it off in M2, he's not wearing a strap-on or nowt so that puts the issue of him having the correct genitalia or not totally out of the question.

Logically, if he didn't have a penis, women wouldn't have vaginas or wombs either (redundant), so they'd just be grinding together aimlessly for hours? Less exertion if they just sat and played tonsil hockey for 20 or 30 minutes, then played some Scrabble afterwards.

Also, from a medical standpoint... No penis... Urination? I'm pretty sure, marvellous thing the human body is, scientists haven't been too successful in getting the body to grow an organic catheter, and as they definitely eat and drink in the Matrix, where do all the waste products go?
