»A strange impression on Archie«

Cheerio.. my second post!

When i first saw reloaded, when the Architect first appeared and said 'I created the Matrix', this idea passed through my mind:

The old man sitting there is the actual inventor/programmer of the Matrix, i.e. an actual human. Of course what we see is only an avatar of him in a form as he was several centuries ago, left by himself by uploading his memories and character from his brain to the Source.

I really don't know why I had this trange impression, which vanished soon after. Although there is no indication that the Architect is based on the progrmmer of the Matrix, and it doesn't add anything in the scenario, I'd like to ask if anyone else had the same impression.

Nice suggestion yes.

The first thing I thought when I saw him first in the cinema is that he was a human.

But he can't be for alot of reasons...

1. A machine can program more efficiently than a human.

2. If he was a, assumable very intelligent, human before, then he must know fully how the human brain works from own experience and thus he must be able to understand them and their choices better.

3. He forms a yin-yang-pair with the Oracle, which/whom is a program for a fact.

Colonel Sanders long lost little brother Herman Sanders. Who originally came up with the blend of herbs and spices that accent the original recipe chicken. He left the partnership to pursue a passion for dinner theatre and poetry readings amongst the intellectual elite. Tragically it would be his passion for voyeurism that would drive him away from his family and friends. His chance meeting with Neo may be the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

And people wonder why everything tastes like chicken in the Matrix

if i remember correctly, he said he needed someone who was less bound by the parameters of perfection in order to assist him in creating the matrix. This makes me think hes definitely program
